A student’s FAA Class II Medical Certificate may still be valid, depending on its expiration date. However, employment requirements – including medical certification, background investigations, fingerprinting, and additional screenings – are determined by the hiring employer. If the graduate is hired by Serco or another contract-tower operator, the employer will advise which documentation may be reused and whether any records or screenings must be updated.
