Once a student has demonstrated the necessary skills, requirements, and knowledge of an Air Traffic Control Tower Operator, they will be recommended for evaluation by an FAA Examiner for certification in accordance with FAR Part 65. Upon successful evaluation, the FAA Examiner will issue the student a Control Tower Operator (CTO) Certificate with Facility Rating.
Upon successful completion of the Advanced ATC Training Program, graduates will also receive a certificate of completion from Advanced ATC and Wiregrass Georgia Technical College.
Advanced ATC will assist the graduate with the FAA application process. Graduates will also be notified on a regular basis of other ATC related job opportunities to ensure their ATC skills are kept current and advanced. AATC also offers graduates ongoing advanced simulation sessions at their request at no extra charge to maintain proficiency.
Advanced ATC does not guarantee future employment.
